Our client in the property sector, is based in the Reading area, and is seeking a part time HR Manager reporting into the COO. This is a newly created role and will take responsibility for the HR function.
The role is a full generalist role with responsibility for recruitment and retention, employee relations, training and development, performance management and remuneration. The role is operational HR and the successful candidate will be able to make the role their own to some extent.
Candidates will be CIPD qualified ideally with experience as an HR manager or business partner working in a small business in either a stand alone role or in a small HR team. Generalist experience and a breadth of HR skills is essential. Previous experience of putting an HR function in place would be useful including recent experience of recruitment, retention and training initiatives. Experience working within a sales environment or with sales teams is desirable. He/she must be able to multi task and manage changing priorities in a busy and fast paced working environment.
- Flexibility – 20-25 hours a week (flexibility on working pattern although they would prefer someone a few hours each day)
