The main focus of the role will be to develop and implement an effective people strategy which is in line with the overall business strategy. Whilst this is a predominantly strategic role, there will be the requirement to combine this with being "hands-on” where necessary. As a business that is focussed on its people, employee engagement will form a key part of the strategy, particularly at a time of rapid growth. Other areas of focus will include:
- Recruitment
- Leadership, development and performance management (appraisals, training, rewards etc.)
- Systems, policies and procedures
You will report directly into the CEO and have line management responsibility for an HR Manager and an HR Co-ordinator who is based overseas.
About you:
- You are an accomplished, senior level HR professional, ideally CIPD qualified.
- You have experience of working within a high growth SME environment.
- You have worked within a multi-site business, ideally with international experience.
- Prior experience of operating within a PE owned business is desirable.
- Experience of integrating acquired businesses would also be an advantage.
- You have experience in competency-based appraisal process implementation.
- You are used to liaising with the Senior Leadership Team and reporting on a variety of KPI's from an HR perspective.

Flexibility: 2 days per week with at least 1 day per week office based.
