Content and Thought Leadership Specialist – 4 days per week, hybrid working

Flexibility: 4 days per week hybrid. One day per week in London office

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious communications professional to use their expertise and experience to lead the knowledge management and communications activities within this growing consultancy business.

This is a newly created role that will take the lead on producing external communications and produce and implement knowledge management strategies that will strengthen communication and knowledge-sharing across the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Development and oversight of the implementation of the annual communications and knowledge management strategy for the group.
    • Creation and execution of a knowledge management and communications strategy that works will the overall business strategic plan. This should include an implementation plan with measurable outcomes.
    • Writing thought leadership pieces on a regular basis to support marketing and new business activities.
    • Work closely with the Marketing team to identify effective channels to communication with key stakeholder groups and maintain a communications calendar with key events, dates and deadlines throughout the year.
  • Supporting the team in the delivery of strategic consultancy work.
    • Working closely with the team to gain an understanding of the strategic offering.
    • Write the report of the flagship research products and support the related knowledge sharing activities.
    • Collaborate with consultants on some aspects of proposal writing.
    • Supporting the creation of knowledge assets (best practice examples, pitch deck, presentations slides etc.).
    • Provide ad hoc advisory project support including content creation and copyediting.

About you:

  • You have a degree in Communications, Journalism, International Relations, English or a related field.
  • A background in Investor Relations or Financial PR would be a distinct advantage.
  • You have worked within a Strategic Communications.
  • Your written work is exemplary and you have a demonstrated ability to convey messages through clear and concise writing.
  • Experience of or interest in ESG issues would be a distinct advantage.
