Compliance Services Manager

Flexibility: Full time hours with flex on start/finish times and some home working

Our client is a niche consultancy based in Hertfordshire and they are seeking a Compliance Services Manager to work with their clients. The role is full time but there is flexibility with working patterns. 

They are seeking a compliance professional with outstanding knowledge of financial regulation and in particular, a strong awareness of the FCA and PRA regulatory framework and the ability to apply the rules to different business models. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for providing day to day technical compliance support to clients going through FCA processes and advising and coaching internal stakeholders. 

Our client is particularly keen on an individual who has been exposed to regulatory frameworks applicable to the investment business sector which may include asset managers, dealer brokers, discretionary management, lenders.

This role will manage a team of 4 compliance professionals as well as manage clients and be delivery focused too.  

Candidates will be educated to degree level, with around 8 years of financial services industry experience. Technical expertise is paramount as is the ability to support and coach colleagues. Significant experience of dealing directly with the FCA / PRA and an excellent working knowledge of the associated Handbooks and frameworks to a variety of financial services businesses is important and knowledge of the investment sector is highly desirable. Candidates will have broad compliance skills and knowledge including operational compliance experience gained within a professional services/consultancy practice or within a financial services firm. Previous experience of developing and training workshops to support internal development of employees and external client training. Candidates will have a professional approach, excellent communication skills and attention to detail and a passion for delivering results to clients.
