Happy to talk Flexible Working

National Work Life Week & Happy to talk Flexible Working – such a great initiatives running this week.  Initiatives that couldn’t fit better with Capability Jane’s business and ethos.  The campaign encourages employers to focus on employees well-being at work, work life balance and flexible working.

At Capability Jane we strongly support this campaign. Everyone who works at Capability Jane works flexibly, as you would probably expect and all our work and conversations with employers revolve around the importance of flexible working and how to deliver this.

The recent Timewise study into flexible working showed that only 9.8% of roles are advertised with flexible working options, yet 67% of employees wish they had flexibility offered to them.  So we know there is still a long way to go with the challenge to make flexible working the norm rather than the exception.

The toolkit that Working Families has produced is an excellent resource for Employers who want to introduce or further embed flexible working.  So Employers should definitely check it out, it tells you everything you need to know about National Work Life Week and how it can help your organisation. Employees also could use it to point their Employers in the right direction!
